S.S. Basavanal Toiled as a big Batt.

There was a great chance of government service having sumptuous salary rejected it and involved himself in social service discarded his personal facilities and started educational institutions. Late Shri S.S. Basavanal spread education did social and religious service toiled for literary service and service for mother tongue. He worked hard until his last breath and proved himself a servant of “Lord Basaveshwar”. He enlightened each and everyone as he had done according to his speech and he spoke as he did. All the teachers and students as well, keep before them Basavanal a role model. His holiness Shri Kumardevaru of Naganur Rudraximath Belgaum advised as above on 7th November 2010 on the occasion of 118th birth day of Shri S.S. Basavanal conducted by KLE’s S.S. Basavanal D.Ed. College, Belgaum. Shri B.S. Gavimath the director of KLE’s Publication Department presided over the function. He narrated the establishment of KLE Society its development, the educational institutions and social service by the seven sages and their selfless service ideal personality and ideal life.

Smt A.V. Jahagirdar prayed god in the beginning. The Principal of D.Ed. College did welcome to all. Shri S.M. Patil gave brief biodata of the dignitaries. Dr. M.G. Patted did vote of thanks. Shri R.K. Nerli conducted the function.
